The StandOut Admissions Network system is hosted by CollegeNET, Inc, and complies with all data protection regulations under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") which took effect on May 25, 2018.

In brief, the StandOut Admissions Network site requires the full consent of its users before any personal information can be collected. For EU Residents between the ages of 13 - 16, parental consent must be received before any personal information can be collected. CollegeNET already prevents users under age 13 from creating an account.
CollegeNET meets all of these key requirements of the GDPR:
- User consent guidelines
- Breach notification
- Right to be forgotten
- Data portability
- Privacy by design
