If you're uploading a file to attach to an application, you may receive an error such as the file is "not a compatible file type" even if the file is an allowed file type and an allowable size. Make sure that the file name extension (for example, mp3, mov, and so on) is in lower case. For example, you can upload and attach a file named MyMovie.mov but cannot upload the same file if it is named MyMovie.MOV.
To fix this issue, rename the file at its source (for example, on your laptop or drive) with a lower case extension and then re-upload it.
