2023-2024 StandOut Challenge Interview

Take the StandOut® Challenge Interview for a chance to win up to $25,000 in Scholarship Cash! 

Beginning November 1, 2023, CollegeNET will be awarding a total of $200,000 in college scholarships via our new, patent-pending video-based StandOut® Challenge Interview. StandOut Challenge Interviews are exciting video-interview competitions where you and your fellow competitors participate and choose the winners!

Answer 6 questions as you tell your story about your own work, practice, study, sports, hobbies or life experiences while sharing any rules of thumb, techniques, or performance tips you've developed along the way. Learn from six other random participants as you watch, compare, and evaluate their video answers.

We're awarding a total $200,000 in scholarships from November 2023 to February 2024 with three chances to win each month:

Grand Prize: $25,000

Second Place: $15,000

Third Place: $10,000

Participating in the StandOut Challenge Interview is fun and easy:

1. Begin by completing your StandOut Admissions Profile and you'll receive a link to join StandOut Challenge Interview.
   Please Note: If you do not want to wait, or did not receive an email, you may also create an account FocusRing.com.
2. Enroll in the competition before the 7th of each month.
3. Respond to six video prompts before the 15th of the month.
   1. Tell us about a sport, activity, or hobby that you enjoy, where you seek to improve your skill. Where do you rate your skill now?
   2. Tell us how often you practice the skill and whether you keep track of your practice.
   3. What ideas or techniques have you learned from your practice that you would like to teach or share?
   4. What made you want to learn this skill or technique?
   5. Is there another skill you'd like to learn from others if you had the chance? What is it?
   6. Is there anything you know today that you wished you knew five years ago? This can be any idea, skill, insight, or wisdom.
4. After you submit your response script you will be notified and assigned to review and evaluate six randomly assigned response scripts of your fellow StandOut Challenge Interview participants. Complete your comparative review and evaluation before the 22nd of each month.

If your response script receives one of the three highest peer evaluation scores for a given month, you will win either a $25,000, $15,000, or $10,000 scholarship!*

In order to qualify to win a Challenge Interview Competition scholarship, you must be currently enrolled in (or accepted for admission at) any of the following institutions. Scholarships are not valid at schools that do not appear on the following list. All scholarship funds will be paid directly to the institution on each winner’s behalf.
